Best Popup Greenhouse for Renters

Are you looking to get into gardening but not sure if it is for you or you are renting a house and do not want to do anything permanent? This popup greenhouse is the best investment I ever bought for our garden. It has literally survived hurricanes and tropical storms!

The two I bought are green and no longer available, but this is a close second and comes in clear. The 8’ x 6’ is the perfect size for those who want to use moveable raised beds to start a small garden. In our garden we have had success with growing basil, cabbage, peppers, carrots, cucumbers, etc. in this greenhouse. I really like how easy it was to set up and could be done by 1-2 people in less than 10 minutes. It also has an adjustable height if you want to keep tall plants like corn or small fruit trees inside.

We originally bought the popup greenhouse because squirrels and other creatures were eating our hard grown food. We woke up one morning to find a squirrel had literally eaten all our pepper plants to the stem! I bought this popup greenhouse the next day on Amazon. Thankfully the plants were still alive, but it took months for them to grown back and now we have a few bell peppers and a banana pepper!

There are a few things you should keep in mind when getting a popup greenhouse. If you live in a humid climate like me then be aware of too much humidity in the greenhouse which could cause mold. We unfortunately have had this problem once in both greenhouses. You can let it air out or keep a small fan inside. If it’s too advanced, then you might have to use a mold killer otherwise your plants will die, and no one wants that… For wind safety make sure you have something heavy placed on the tarp, so it doesn’t blow away. We have the tarp tucked underneath 7 moveable raised beds and they weigh about 30 lbs. each so this thing is blowing nowhere! The last thing we noticed with our first popup greenhouse we bought is the tarp has started to disintegrate which is a blessing and a curse. We now have more wind and rain moving throughout the greenhouse which has prevented mold, but more bugs have started to creep into our plants. Our other greenhouse we bought a month or two later is still in perfect condition so just be aware you might have to change the tarp depending on your climate. Moveable Raised Beds for Renters

As previously mentioned above these Moveable Raised Beds are perfect for renters or anyone looking to get into gardening. My mom was actually the one who found these and uses them on her back patio so she could easily move plants in and out of the shade. They come in a variety of sizes and colors to suit your garden needs. Some of the features include a fill tube, a root grate, and an overflow port to improve aeration.

The planters are perfect for almost any fruit or vegetable you can put into a small, raised bed! I’ve had great success with herbs, peppers, cabbage, and different kinds of squash. Go ahead and check them out and start growing your own fruit and vegetables in your backyard!
