Multi Collagen (1, 2, 3, 5 & 10) Peptides Protein Powder
After getting dip nails done for years, I noticed they started to become brittle and fragile and break easily from the constant grinding of the nail drills. During the pandemic I took it upon myself to learn how to do my own dip nails so they wouldn’t be grinded down to literally my bone and figure out a way to strengthen my nails. I started with trying several different nail polishes that claimed to prevent chips and breaks but nothing worked.
I did some research on collagen supplements and stumbled upon this Multi Collagen (1, 2, 3, 5 & 10) Peptides Protein Powder. I have been putting this powder into my morning coffee for 2 years now and I started having normal nails after a few months!
Most collagen supplements in the stores contain only Type I and III from bovine which is good, but I wondered what about the other types? After a bit of research, I discovered Type II, V, and X.
Type I and III make up 90% of the human body’s collagen which includes hair, nails, skin, tendons, organs, blood vessels, etc. and can be found in bovine or fish collagen and eggshells.1
Type II is mainly found in cartilage like your ears or nose and can be found in chicken collagen which also contains hyaluronic acid.1 You know the thing they always scream about in face lotion commercials?
Type V is a minor player, but it coincides with Type II to make up joint cartilage and creates the cells of a placenta.1 Fun fact!
Last but not least is Type X which also makes up joint cartilage and is also found in eggshells.1
Now the reason I bought this collagen supplement compared to others is because it contains vitamin C and hyaluronic acid which are essential to collagen production. No vitamin C then no collagen and no one wants to look like a pirate with scurvy…
My man “H” and I actually love this product so much we have a monthly subscription to the unflavored so we can put it in any drink we want. “H” is the king of supplements and nutrition and actually stopped buying his collagen supplement once I showed him mine.
The supplement comes in a variety of flavors such as unflavored, strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. We normally put it in black coffee, and we don’t taste a thing. I do like the chocolate one and taste a lot like powdered hot chocolate mix. The vanilla one is really good as well, but it is VERY vanilla flavored so if that is your thing you will love it! I have yet to try the strawberry flavor because I don’t think coffee and strawberry will go well together.
If you are having issues with your nails, hair, or skin or just want to be generally healthier and look like a super model at the age of 60 then go ahead and check it out!
FYI, collagen and biotin supplements do take months to see effects so keep that in mind!
*I do not claim to be a doctor so if you have any health issues, please consult your physician before use. This is just my personal testimony on the product. Collagen powders are a supplement and are not FDA approved.
